Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-25

WaveNook (wavenook.com) is run by BlueEra ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use our tools.

The short version

  • You don't need an account and we don't ask for your name or email.
  • Files, recordings and text you use with our tools are processed in your own browser. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we can't see them.
  • The site is free because it shows ads. Our ad partners use cookies, as explained below.

Your files and recordings

Our tools run on your device using standard browser technology (such as Web Audio, Canvas and WebAssembly). When you open a file or record audio, it stays in your browser's memory and disappears when you close the page. Some tools let you keep items for your next visit, for example saved soundboard sounds. These are stored in your browser's own storage on your device, never on our servers. You can delete them in the tool or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Tools that use your microphone or camera ask for your permission first, through your browser. The audio or video is processed on your device and is not sent anywhere.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's My Ad Center, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU). Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Your choices

  • EEA, UK and Switzerland: we ask for your consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used. Change your choice at any time with the "Privacy choices" link at the bottom of every page.
  • US states with privacy laws: where you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, Google's consent tool shows an opt-out link on this site.
  • Everywhere: you can turn off personalised ads in Google's My Ad Center (linked above), block third-party cookies in your browser, or use your browser's private mode.

Analytics and hosting

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and reports only aggregate figures such as page views. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes and contact

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above. Questions? Email hello@wavenook.com.
