Why people use WaveNook
Private by design
Every tool runs in your browser. Your recordings and files are never uploaded to a server.
Fast, even with big files
No upload or download queue: your device does the work, so results are ready in seconds.
Free, no sign-up
No accounts, watermarks or trial limits. Open a tool and use it, as often as you like.
Get your setup right before the call
Check everything in a minute: the mic test shows whether people can hear you, the speaker test checks left, right and bass, and the webcam test shows the real resolution your camera sends.
Audio tools for everyday jobs
Recording a voice note or a podcast intro? The voice recorder saves straight to MP3. Turning a song into a ringtone takes a minute with the ringtone maker, and the audio converter handles M4A, FLAC, OGG and even video files. Need a test tone? Use the tone generator, or find out how high you can hear with the hearing age test. For quizzes, classrooms and game nights there's a sound effects board, and the Discord sound maker turns any clip into a soundboard-ready sound.

Is WaveNook really free?
Yes. Every tool is free with no limits. We keep the lights on with ads, which we keep away from the tools themselves.
Do you upload my audio?
No. Our tools use your browser's built-in audio features and WebAssembly to process everything on your device. We never receive your files or recordings.
Which browsers are supported?
The latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on computers, iPhones and Android phones. A few features, like choosing which speakers to play through, need Chrome or Edge.
