Ringtone maker
Choose a song, slide the 30-second window to your favourite part, and download a ringtone with a smooth fade. Works for Android phones and iPhones on iOS 26 or later.
Private by design: everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
How to make a ringtone
- Open a song or sound from your device: MP3, M4A, WAV and more.
- Drag the 30-second window to your favourite part and press Play selection to check it.
- A 1-second fade out is already set so the ringtone ends smoothly. Add a fade in if you like.
- Download the MP3 and set it as your ringtone (instructions below).
Make a ringtone people recognise
- Start on the hook. The chorus or a distinctive intro is recognisable within a second.
- Avoid quiet openings. A soft start might be missed in a noisy room, so begin where the music is already loud.
- Notification sounds work best at 1–3 seconds. Drag the window narrower for a short alert.

Frequently asked questions
How do I set a custom ringtone on iPhone?
On iOS 26 or later, save the MP3 to the Files app, open it, tap Share, then "Use as Ringtone". The clip must be 30 seconds or less, which is why this tool caps it there. On older iOS, use GarageBand's Share → Ringtone.
How do I set a custom ringtone on Android?
Copy the MP3 to your phone (for example to the Ringtones or Download folder), then go to Settings → Sound → Phone ringtone and pick it. Some phones also let you choose the file straight from the Files app.
Why 30 seconds?
iPhones reject ringtones longer than 30 seconds, and a phone rarely rings longer than that anyway. You can make it shorter, for example for a notification sound.
Can I use songs from Spotify or Apple Music?
No. Streaming tracks are protected and not stored as normal files. Use songs you own as MP3/M4A files, or your own recordings.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion runs in your browser on your own device, so your files never reach our servers, and large files are just as private as small ones.
